Interview - What to wear??!

Hi Fellow Geeks!

I have a job interview in 2 weeks time and I was wondering would you wear your beauty uniform or a smart suit?

If you are an employer what do you prefer to see your interviewees wearing?

Any advice is always welcome

From an employers perspective - as long as what you wear is neat, clean, conservative and respectable I would not mind if it was a suit or beauty uniform. Perhaps you should check if you have a trade test to do and if yes then enquire as to if they would like you to wear your beauty uniform. This would show you are taking a real interest in the job and trying to impress them. Good luck!!

I would definately wear a suit or similar smart outfit. I always ask the therapists who I am going to interview to bring their uniform with them to change into to carry out the trade test in the second part of their interview. If they haven't mentioned it just take it with you in case.

as a hairdresser i think its slightly different for us, but i always find as long as you are smart and well presented that's fine.
