Intro offers and loyalty

I am about to start renting a room at a local health centre. My treatments will include Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Remedial Massage. They have asked me to do an intro offer. No one currently offers those treatments on site and I have set my prices to be competitive with local business.

Has anyone got any thoughts on discounts? Whilst discounting prices may get someone through the door first time im not convinced it gets loyalty from clients.

Are there any success stories out there for intro offers that helped build client loyalty?
