It's true, I've only ever applied gel over tips. It actually only occured to me as I sat here looking at my bare naturally flat nails ( which I had been growing out under enhancements as I've been having trouble with them since I started my course)
Anyway it got me thinking, is there a difference of technique when tips aren't involved? Do you still build an apex? ( but now it's for aesthetics (?) rather than strength)
And a little side question too, does anyone else find short nails more difficult to do? For any service like when you enhance a nail biter as generally you don't extend them vey much, or filing really short nails?
