Hi,

Firstly do you have the Jane Iredale foundation brush ? This gives the best application in my opinion and should be used to mix the liquid on the back of your hand then apply to your face, if you don't have the brush then mix with your fingertips then apply.

Also what skin type do you have ? The liquid foundation does not give good coverage on certain skintypes and needs to be applied fast as it dries quickly !

Did your therapist show you how to apply it when you purchased it ? It can be very tricky to apply to start with. A good tip is to not use much moisturiser as this foundation is already quite moisturising hence why its not very beneficial for oily skins.

I take it you mean the liquid mineral foundation? If so, I've personally never had a problem with it however I have heard that very ocassionally the bottle may not be working properly. It has some action when the product is pumped out, and it's meant to mix the foundation and the liposomes together, for you.

As said previously I would go back to the therapist who sold you the minerals and get them to check the bottle out, you may just have one of the very few problem bottles. If not they will certainly advise on how you should be using it.

I also use hardly any liquid minerals. I use a very small amount, put blusher on and finished with a light dusting of pressed base.

Hope that helps.
