hi salon geeks,
got a spray tan machine last year for xmas, have alwwwaays been into makeup tan everything beauty related but have got so caught up in earning alot in telesales i havent pursued training. I am only 19 and apparently qualify for a free course in beauty with my local college. however this is a diploma and NOT a nvq.. is this a bad thing and should I pay to do the more recognised qualification of a nvq. Is the industry doing well isit wise to start training now? I really need some advice on what to do, once i qualify level 3, & also take some spray tan courses and further makeup courses im hoping to go mobile or rent a shop.. any advice on this? so many questions!!! thanks:eek:

hi ,it sounds to me that in ur heart of hearts u have already made up ur mind as u are thinking and looking ahead, this is a gd start, i started my own business (yes all be it inside a hair dressers) about 8mnths ago now and i am really starting to get things moving now, so much so that if things keep going the way that they are this time next year, touch wood i cld have my own salon, so my advice to u is go for it, ur young and if u dont u might always end up wondering what if or regretting not taking a chance. gd luck!
