Laser hair removal/thread vein training?

Hi there.
Does anybody know of any good places that train in IPL? I wanted to go to someone that offered unbiased training so that I knew I wasn't getting someone training to use their own brand.

Do any of you guys out there do laser hair removal or skin rejuvenation with laser? how did you train or know what the best machines were? I'm level 3 qualified.

Please help if you can!! xx

i do both hair and skin ipl treatments and have done 4 years,
i have worked with ellipse superlight which is a ipl for 3 years which is a very good ipl but also very expensive. but you get what you pay for because the system is very easy to use looks very nice, works well and clients like it. i cannot fault the ellipse ipls at all i loved working with them but they cost alot to upkeep with the company. refubsihing the heads is the downfall the heads never seem to come bk when the company have told you. Also ad mix ups where apps have gone to the wrong place, ellpise have not been the best for help and advice sometimes.
ive felt like i have worked alot of things out for myself.
at the min i am working with a pulsar this machine is not as expensive as the ellipse therefore it doesnt look as good still does the job (is the same class laser) and whenever i av ad contact with the company (training/enquires) they seem to run a little smoother i dont feel things are pushed on me and i feel the answers i get are honest. i find everything just easier with the pulsar team the trainer that i ad was very helpful and aslo talked about other brands not just pulsar explained differrences with them. but at the end of the day it is up to your who you feel is better for you look at the websites speak to the trainers and get info. i hope this helps x x xx

Lynton are good with training and have good clinical support where you can always ring up with a question. There is a 4 days (I think) BTEC course held at Mapperley Park (Mapperley Park Clinic, Nottingham - Treatments for skin problems, tattoo removal, hair removal, plastic surgery and more) for general training in lasers/ipl. There may be other places.

Otherwise most training is by the manufacturer and specific to the machine.
