Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can help me when I do a bridal make up I routinely offer individual lash extensions applied to the top lashes and never to the lower lashes. A future bride has told me that she will be having permanent lash extensions put on ready for her wedding but would like individual lower lash extensions. Is this possible as I have never done this and what are the best products (lashes) to use? Should I have been offering this before now? Only I think lower lash extensions might look a little weird. Your help would be much appreciated and thank you in advance.

I wouldn't fit individual lashes to the lower lash as you will be able to see the bulb/knot at the base of the lashes, and they will be quite heavy for the lower lashes,
i would advise your client to have her lower lashes enhanced with the semi permanent lashes she is having fitted on the upper lashes as they will be much lighter on the lower lash and look far nicer,
no lash extension will last very long on the lower lash line due to our eyes constantly watering etc so see needs to have them fitted as close as possible to her big day,
she should get a good week out of them, hth

Thank you for your reply Louise. I will let my client know x :)

I am eyelash extension technician and I had extension on my lower eyelashes and also I've done some for my clients.
They look great! You will need to use C or J curl, 5 or 6 mm lon, 0.15 thickeness. Do not apply on each lash. Just blend it.
They last up to 4 weeks from my experience. Use odourless glue!!

You can have them on lower lashes. It depends on the look you are trying to create. My trainer wore them and she applied it herself.

It looked really good. Like bellalashes said, you only need to put a few to blend in.

Have you tried Everlash ?- they are very thin no bulb and each one is about 3 or 4 hairs on them - they would be suitable for lower lashes.

Also Everlash have been around for ages/years - but I got mine at Ellisons.

Have applied hollywood lashes 6mm j curl to some clients lower lashes previously upon request however we were never trained to do this. The client was happy with them but I did think they looked a little weird, personal preference i guess...
