Lash lift contraindications

Hi
A bit of a long shot but...does anyone know why Glaucoma is a contraindication for a lash lift and if there is a way to make the treatment possible ?

• Glaucoma – can be painful and lead to blurred vision, sore eyes and often pressure behind the eye. We would say a treatment would not be carried out, the pressure of applying the shield and sticky lashes could possibly cause problems and exasperate the condition.
