Lash lift rods or shields?

Does anyone have any advice on whether rods or silicone shields are best for lash lifting? I have used shields so far and they don’t always seem to fit the eye lid properly [emoji57]

I prefer the shields. I trim the sides of the sheild to fit the client

I am the same, prefer the shields and trim them to suit x

like the shields better. much easier to use and yes you can cut them to where they work out for most eye shapes, but if for whatever reason my clients want them more up (curled) i use the rods for a sharper lash look. be careful with the rods tho you dont want them to literally turn into a round curl!
