Lash lift shields

Hi, I am newly qualified in lash lift and tint. I've recently purchased the salon system set. They only have medium and large shields. will the medium be ok to use on short lashes? I have never used small shields. Thanks

The shield size normally depends on the length of the natural lash so for short lashes it would be best to use the small shield to get the desired result

what would happen if I used the medium shield on short lashes? would you still be able to see the lift

You might still get some lift but its not going to be as strong. If you imagine how far the short lashes would only curve over the shield you can see how weak the lift would be as opposed to a small shield which has a tighter curve so the shorter lashes would lift better x

ok thanks. ive only ever used the shields. have you ever used the rods

I would advise to get the small shields for shorter lashes, I usually use small or medium and hardly ever use large
