Lash tint, hair tint?

I went into capital today to buy some refectocil cream developer. They only had the liquid, but the lady in there said I could use 3% hair peroxide as thats a cream formulation. I didn't buy it as I don't want to blind my clients lol, but is it the same thing?

I wouldn't use it unless you know exactly what the end result or reaction is.
And isn't the peroxide liquid differnt volume?
