I recently purchased a couple lecente glitters. The gold sleigh bells and the pink I'm yours. When applying the gold it stayed on perfect but felt a little rough after curing top coat? And the pink which was more like strands just brushed off when applying top coat.

Any ideas why? Or tips on how to avoid this?

Thanks

I always burnish my glitters, this creates a rly smooth surface.

When you apply the glitters into the inhibition layer you need to then gently rub them flat with a soft brush. I then apply a coat of Clearly Pink prior to the Top Coat.

With the free pink strands you need to again really press them into place. Apply top coat and if any ends are sticking up just very gently file them smooth.

Lecente do have videos showing how to apply.

Are you double top coating? It will smooth out the roughness of the glitter.

Can't help with the glitter strands, I don't like it so never used it but I suspect your sticky dispersion layer is not tacky enough to secure them so they're just wiping off on the topcoat brush. Try part curing your second colour coat before applying the stands then finish with full cure before topcoating.

Thanks il try a double top coat next time. [emoji4]

The strands will work best when used with hard gel so they can be embedded.
