I used LeChat top coat in the red bottle for the first time yesterday over nobility french extensions to make them stronger. But the client came back later complaining that it had discoloured the white making them really dull and patchy. I buffed over them and covered with nobility clear and they were fine.
I did 1 coat of top coat, cured for 15 seconds, then 2nd layer of top coat and cured for 2 mins. Wiped the sticky layer which did look quite dull. Then rubbed in cuticle oil. Does anyone know what i did wrong or got any advice.

I've only been using Le Chat for a little while so I'm no expert but I wonder if curing them for a little longer might help, I did mine the other day and a one hand was a wee bit dull, I just popped on a varnish top coat. hth

Hi hi,

I use Le Chat for my gels and sometimes to topcoat my acryls, you only really need one layer of topcoat and cure it for 3 mins and then like you said wipe the excess away. I'm not sure if it would effect using it with the other brand you were using but I thought this top coat would have worked still. Did you wipe the area with the Le Chat cleanser before adding the top coat aswell as after?
