About as far South as you can get!
Hi guys :)

I was just trying to make up a cv for myself as I got made redundant yesterday and never had to put one together before!

Anyway, I was wondering about letters after your name once you've qualified with Creative. Are there any I can put after my name like the NVQ's or VTCT's? Or would I just be 'Creative Nail Design Trained'

(Same for the waxing and spray tanning courses I've already done too but I know that's for the other forum)

Any help greatly appreciated so I can make my cv look professional and knock their socks off :)

Thank you

Sarah. xx

Sorry if this should've been in Chit Chat :o but it is nail related :). xx

I thought you had just started renting a room, what happened hunny.

PM me if you need a shoulder

As for letters after your name i've always thought it was a bit ponsy! Wow people with your skills not your name xxx

Yes hun, I have just started renting a room, but I had a permanent part time school hours job to supplement my new business while I was building it up. Well, no more after 1pm yesterday! I'm looking for some flexi (from home possibly) work really now as I want to make a go of my new business, no time like the present and maybe it was the shove I needed (albeit a bit sooner than I'd have liked!)

I only ask because I've done my CV and have sent it to my sister who works in an HR dept of another company and there's a girl in her office who is a whizz with CV's and she asked me what qualification I would get once I've done my acrylic course (and the same for my spray tanning and waxing) I've looked at the certs I have so far but there isn't anything on there to suggest I can put anything after my name.

I agree it's poncy :) but she's only trying to make me look as good as I possible can.

xx

I would just say CND Nail technician unless you have completed the whole CND course in which case you hopefully would have gained your CND Master Nail Technician Certificate or even Grand Master.
