Lip colours

When I attended college I was given a make-up kit which only had glosses in. Can anyone give me advice on what basic colours to get started with.

The glosses should have a dark, medium and light to suit different skin tones so maybe get the same shades but in a regular lipstick. I used a lot of my own lippies, just scraped a good bit off the top to avoid cross contamination, and then just scraped a bit off when I needed it. You can blend your own colours too which is quite interesting and can be fun to do.

Thanks Trish, I have lots of my own make-up, I will mix them to get a good colour. I used to sell cosmetics so I have plenty of testers. I think i'm just panicing beacause I haven't done it for a while .
