Loan to start a new bussiness

Hi,

I was hoping that you could point me in the right direction. I am looking for a loan to start a hairdressing business but I am very short with cash.
In your opinion, should I try the franchise road (toni & guy, saks...) or point me to where to have a loan to start a new business ?

Try checking out your local council, look in the business section. My council are giving out loans that are better rates than the banks. These are for people who wish to start up businesses in the local area. The reason that they are doing this is to promote regeneration in the area. It maybe worth a try.
