As the title says, I'm trying to find a full kit for my girlfriend. She was recently in town and tried my sister's kit and really liked the outcome. I don't know much about this sort of thing and from what I've looked at on Amazon I'm leaning toward their Red Carpet kit, linked at the bottom.

I'd like to get the full kit together and not spend a fortune, but if you guys have better advice on buying the lamp and other stuff separately, let me know.

Thanks for any help
Adam

This is the nail kit that has caught my eye the most.

How lovely of you.

Is your girlfriend qualified in nails?

No, she is not. I just got the feeling I may be in the wrong forum.

If so, could you point me in the right direction?

This forum site is for professionals only so I don't think we're going to be able to help you or point you in the direction to buy non professional products. Sorry

Is there a consumer forum that you would recommend?

Sent you a pm :)

If your girlfriend enjoys doing her nails why not get her a course instead?

I don't know what your budget is but a complete course, with a brand like CND, would include all the kit or you could book her onto a manicure course with a local provider. As long as it is accredited she should be able to open accounts and buy all the professional bits.

If you are going to start doing gel nails (even if only on yourself) it's good to have the basic knowledge and research done so you don't damage your nails or cause an allergic reaction.

If she just likes having nails that last why not look into getting her some CND Vinylux polishes. It's a regular nail polish that lasts up to 7 days (or more!) it's great :)

You can buy from local salons. Find your closest one here: http://www.lovecnd.com/salon-finder/

Hth :)
