Has anyone trained in lycon waxing, and if so, is it worth the money?? I want to train in brazilian and hollywood waxing and am considering lycon cos i know its a reputable company, but is it really woth it?

i use the perron rigot wax and love it, but lycon here have a great name and are used in some of our top waxing salons over here so if you like it and like working with it then i think it is worth it

Why stick with one system? Go for generic training such as Kim or Axiom. Then try better waxes - Caron (outsells Lycon in Australia) - Perron Rigot (the choice of many professionals)Harley (same as Lycon but cheaper and you get prompt service). Shop around!

Although I train with Perron Rigot (because I believe to be the best), I allow my students to bring a different brand if they prefer. It's waxing that I teach, not product knowledge.

As an aside, I have had a few students bring their Lycon to their training and they have changed to Perron after using it.

Buy a bag of a few waxes and try them all. xxx
