Hi I hope someone can help me I am wanting to do a make up artist. I have googled make up courses and only really come up with the local college near me. I just wondered where else other people have trained and any recommendation anyone may have. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me love Julie

Hi Julie,

I have just trained with Samantha and Nicola Chapman last week and it was fantastic, a hell of a lot to take in but they are fantastic tutors and I am just amazed at how much I have learned.

WOW! I am thinking about doing one of their courses- I lov PIXIWOO! can't decide between them or the AOFM (bit epensive but supposed to be really good).
How did you find the course, which one did you do? (i would like to doe the foundation/advanced)
Do you feel confident with your skills and are you working? Do you think it's worth the money?
Sorry about all the questions it's just alot of money to part with and a long way from Leeds so I want to make sure it's right...any info wouls be so helpfull, thanks x

hi all
I'm new to this forum but so far have found it very interesting and informative. I too am looking for a makeup artist course, preferably in London. I'm level3 beauty therapy trained and also work for clarins (retail side). Has anyone heard of London Academy of Media, film and TV? Their course looks quite good and is not overly expensive. Has anyone done any of their courses? I'm looking at the Makeup Masterclass one.
Thanks
