Hiya just wondered if you have to have a certificate in make up to do make up on clients?? I wonder whether my insurance would cover make up application if I didn't have a certificate in it? I want to add make up as a service for bridal clients so with nails hair and tanning I have a complete package.
Hoping for some advice.... thanks :o xxxx

Unfortunately we have to have a certificate/qualification in everything we do on paying clients. If someone reacted to a product you used you wouldn't be covered.

Thanks both of you for your answers
So it seems from the Academy of Freelance make up that you do not actually need certification. In the industry it seems just a natural flair is required and then if wanting to further your skills - a course. But the courses are not a requirement to practice make up on clients. Or this is what I am reading on the sites.
I will check this with my insurance company though...xxx
