I have recently started doing bridal make up and have bought Barbara Bort make up. I have some weddings booked but have not done any using this make up as yet. Using the eyeshadows on myself though,I find that they don't last and I'm worried about my brides' eyes staying perfect. Any tips on how to set the eyeshadows or in the application to make it last longer? Also has anyone had experience with the fluid make up foundations. Do they last well? The samples of colour forever are fantastic, but I have only got the fluid make up in my kit at the moment.

primer by urban ecay

use a primer it will help the make up last urban decay is a good one as is mac and screenface. I would suggest though that in your kit you have a mixture if different products not just one range.

Conceler dapped on the eyelid before putting on the eye shadow works really well

For foundation, try Dior Forever for brides, the foundation works perfect on problem skin, giving beautiful coverage, it is long-lasting, doesn't flash back giving an spf factor.

Nars Pro Prime is a fantastic eye primer, the Too Faced one is good too. I can't stand the Urban Decay one, it's not nice to blend over.

Perhaps you should invest in some different eyeshadows too? How is the finish of them? Is it just the longevity you're having issues with? Some long wear cream shadows are always great to have in your kit and the act as a really good, long lasting base for powder shadows and pigments on top too.
