Hi geeks,
This is my first post although I have replied to a few others.
I have a home based salon so don't really have anyone else to ask their opinion.
I did my level 2 beauty and went on a few courses for gel nails, wraps, spray tan and dermalogica. Anyway there are a few things bothering me that I should maybe let go over my head regarding other therapists in my area. It's a small place so I'm quite friendly with all there girls so that makes it hard.
1) has manicure certificate (she did a evening class) but has just opened a home salon and does both manicure and pedicure as she says manicure is just a pedicure of the feet so doesn't need to do a course in that?
2) uses dermalogica products for facials she buys online?
3) did her spray tan training online?
Is this acceptable? I feel gutted that I have spent so much time and money on these things and people do this. What's the point?!
Should I just suck it up?
