Hi there, I did the course for micro ring wefts a year ago and try as I might I cannot stop them from slipping. I chose this method as I didn’t fancy the sewing part with the LA weave and I already offer the micro ring method I thought this would be a great option for my clients with thicker hair and Also a lot quicker. Is there any extensionists out there who have clients that can successfully wear the micro ring weft without it slipping after a couple of weeks? Could you tell me what type of rings etc you use? I have tried
- various types of rings including copper rings, silicon lined, non silicon lines etc
- doubling up rings
- taking larger sections of hair in the rings
- different pliers
-various clients with different hair types
I know it took me a while to get the micro ring method to stay in but now I know what rings and pliers to use and my clients barely lose any over ten weeks. Any hints would be greatly appreciated so that my course wasn't a complete waste of money and time.
