I have had a look online and am confused by conflicting information regarding microblading and Bells Palsy. I am 5 weeks into BP with my face having improved by about 85%. I was unfortunately complete paralysis on one side. I can now wiggle my eyebrows up and down, however, I cannot close my eye.

I read that some BP sufferers have had MB to improve their features but then I tried to get a booking and the therapist told me she wouldn't do them.

Is this a contraindication or not?

If I had it done, I can't see how my face relaxing could make a difference? Surely you only tattoo within the eye area and it would move along with my face.

Thanks in advance.

It would be very hard to get an accurate measurement for brows if you have Bell’s palsy. You can guess where and how the ideal brow would sit but you can’t measure accurately. I’d advise waiting until your BP has cleared and have brows done then.
