Minx infrared lamp

Hi all,
I am going to start supplying Minx in my salon and wondered if there was anyone with any ideas where I could get a cheaper infrared lamp from. Have tried Ebay, but there's not much choice. Typed infrared lamp into search engine, but there doesn't seem to be many about. Can anyone help, can't really afford the Minx lamp. Also, I subscribe to Scratch magazine and wondered if there were any more good magazines that are available.Thanks in advance.

have u tried argos? I have seen them in there before. Also they use infra-red lamps in beauty treatments to help ease muscles so u could see if there any in a beauty wholesalers like sallys or something x

Hi I want to purchase Minx but have spent out too much recently so am looking for a cheaper infa red lamp. Have seen an equivalent size one but also with a stand that has a 275w bulb. I've read the one from S2 is 250w bulb. Will a 275w be ok or is it too high and will damage minx?

I think salon serve has an infrared lamp for a bit cheaper! xx

I read on the minx web site that they need a 175watt bulb, and check that the lamp that you are considering putting the bulb into can take a 175watts, I'm in the middle of also trying this idea but so far having trouble meeting all the criteria not so easy as I thought!!
