I am just starting out (for the 2nd time) doing spray tanning and nails.

At the moment I am working all over the place - whenever anyone wants an appointment i will do it. I realised the other night maybe i need to set my work hours a little bit - when someone asked me to do 5 sets of nails for her and her friends - i thought great - she wanted me to start at 7 pm which i agreed to - until i realised i would be working until about 1 am!!!

I am wondering to set hours like in a salon, with 1 or 2 late nights?? What are your thoughts, or what works for you?

Im mobile and have set hours Mon 10am to 3pm then Mon - Fri 7pm to 10pm. I also have a comment on my website to call if they want an appointment outwith these times. I'm only starting up so don't want to put clients off, but also want to be ablle to say no without feeling uncomfortable if I need to. Hope that makes sense? :)

I work from home and have done so for 3years. On my website I have opening times of say 10am till 4 and I do two late evenings Tues/Thurs. I do take the day off occasionally and if people request the day I need off I just tell them I can't do as I'm on a course or if people ring I say I'm fully booked. Naughty I know but if they like what you do they'll book in for another day
