hi everyone, i'm in the process of setting a mobile beauty business doing manicures, pedicures, gel nails, waxing, massage, tinting ect. just wondered what other mobilers were charging for their treatments and what area you come from. thanks

The best thing you can do is concentrate on local competition. Have a look on the internet for mobile therapists in your area. Email them for price lists.
To be honest when I first started I didn't bother with it. I had prices that I wanted for my services and that's what I charged. I was lucky that it worked out but took a chance really. If you would like to look at my prices hun then click onto my website

Theres one thing that I want to change and that's bikini line because im fed up with people expecting me to do an extended bikini line for the same price.

before you decide what to charge you need to know how much each treatment costs you to do - not just product but count every bit of cotton wool, couch roll etc. then factor in time of treatment, time getting to and from appts (decide how far you will travel for a client and stick to it!) and cost of advertising etc. Once you've done that you will know how much to charge to not just break even but to make a profit. You will also know which are your most profitable treatments and which ones you can "easily" discount without making a loss.
This is very boring but essential to know your business. Don't assume because you're mobile that you have to be cheaper than the salons - remember you have the same qualifications and skills and are doing the client a huge favour by coming to them.
