I have been quailified for 7years and used to be a mobile beautician then i had my daughter and had to give up my car so i slowly lost clients and it was harder for me to commit to appt times etc so just stuck to doing my family and close friends but now im thinking of starting up again. just wanted some advice on what products to use for pedis/manis and facials im not in a position to spend lots on products at the moment been looking on capital and salons direct but not sure what to go for.
Also found a great beauty couch on ebay for £65 and my mum said she will pay for my insurance for the year. Record cards im going to buy but waxing after care leafets was thinking of making myself and laminating them would that be ok. Retail products any really good things to get in that ppl would actually buy.

Also best way to advertise was going to do something on facebook any other ideas i have business cards just get worried about putting them through doors and not really knowing who may turn up!!

Feel so lost this time round:eek: any advice will be much apprieciated

Thanks:)

Facial wise proto-col is great no minimum order and the mark up is very very good.. If you need any info on how to get inbto the proto-col as you can earn quite a bit pm me xxx Good luck x

Hi can recommend Eve Taylor facial products for use and retail, really beautifull products, with no minimum order even have a mobile pack, comes with carry case.:)
Get yourself a free or vista print website, best form of advertising, put your ad on all the free advertising sites, ie, yell.com, google, scoot, netmums.com, just google free advertising and loads of sites come up.
Good luck setting up again, I did the same about a year and a half ago after having my daughter, this site helped so much with my confidence, and getting extra training to help me feel up to date with what I am able to offer.
xx:hug:

eve-taylor.com They are really helpful, and also do little trial size sachets you can give your clients so they can try the products, which is always good if they dont normally have facials.:) hth.xx

I know we do a mobile kit with a case.

I would recommend getting in touch with a few companies and getting samples to see what is available.
