Most popular nails?

what's the most popular extensions? I'm booked onto a shellac polish course but want to organise my next training while I have the money. There is a complete course which covers fibreglass, acrylic, gel and silk but I wondered if I need all 4, aren't some a bit outdated and obsolete? Alternatively there are single courses for both gel and acrylic and I'm a bit confused of which route to take. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks xx

I have never ever seen a set of fibreglass nails in my life.

Personally i dont know many people who wear gel nails (Only 2 from memory) BUT i think this is area dependant as i have seen others say gel is more popular for extensions than acrylic for them.

I don't know any salons in this area that do silk or fibreglass nails however they are beautiful and great for repairs too. I had silk nails for many years and they look so natural. I'd love to train in them soon x

I think everywhere is different I don't know many salons near by who offer Gel Extensions it is mostly Acrylic Extensions or gel polish where I live, but i think maybe offering something a little different could be good as well x

I agree that it's area dependent. Where I am, gel extensions are a lot more popular than acrylic. Fibreglass and silk are practically unheard of.
