Moving to New York

Hi Geeks - maybe some of the American geeks can help me.

My husband is american and next year we're moving back to NY. Ideally I would like to work in a spa. I have NVQ level 3 as well as numerous Itec massage qualifications - aroma, holistic, hot stone as well as AOR reflexology. Will I have to re train to get a NY licence or will I just have to take the NY State exams? I don't think I'll be able to do massage because of the state laws on training - I'd go back to school to do this but I'd rather not for the beauty end of things.
