Hi looking for advice. I'm trained in level 2&3 beauty therapy and have been for 20 years, oldie I know!! I would like to specialise in make up and possibly hair. Looking for advice on which would be the best type course for me to do this. Could I do short courses in make up or am I best attending week long or 18 week type courses?? I live in the north west so either Newcastle or Manchester are best for me. Also which academy's are best in these areas?? Also, which courses would accredited me as a mua? Or am I too old to venture down this route??

Thank you in advance.

Or do I even need to do further training?

You're already insurable for makeup as you will have covered it in level 2.

A level 3 makeup course will cover fashion and photographic, camouflage, media, face and body art and quite likely airbrushing too. There are lots of places in the north west that offer the course. White rose and Livava are two that I know of but if you google there are more.

Thank you. I will check those you suggested out.
