Nail condition?

Have any of you seen darkening close to the cuticle on the natural. Ails my client had shellac with me for the first time then I removed it and she noticed it the following day ive never seen it before so thought I would check if maybe she shouldn't have it again as I wasn't sure if it could be a allergy or due to using a uv lamp, she's not on medication either does anyone know what it could be ???

Yes, if you buffed and then used a dark or red colour it could stain the nail.
In which case it will grow out.

And I was thinking it's probably the new growth being pinker and newer highlighting the change in the buffed area
