Hi

i recently passed the Brisa gel course and decided to do some gels on myown nails - this wasa few weeks ago

so last week i filed the gel down as there was some lifting in zone 3

i never got round to re-applying the new gel but was going to do it today

2 of mt tips on my thumbs have come off by themselves which has caused my nail plate to peel a little

am i ok to re-apply tips and overlay using gel on these nails

or should i leave it and give them TLC?

will it cause any more damage?

Nikki

I think you should be ok to re-appy tips and overlay with gel on the damaged nails. However, make sure you keep up the maintenance properly. Your nails wouldn't have got damaged had you maintained them properly. Look after your own nails as they will be your selling point too x

thank you for the advice i guess i though that they would be ok if i filed the gel off and left them

i will not be doing that again!!

thank you again

:hug:Good luck!

don't worry too much - just don't do it to a client!!!!
we all end up with dodgy nails at some stage or other - i'm a picker/biter and can't resist a jagged edge!!!!
