Any suggestions for geting nail glue off kitchen worktop, Widget (trainer hand) was playng up last night. And I just noticed some glue on worktop..eek.:o
Suze x

Acetone based product remover.

Thanks I thought so but was a bit wary bout using it. x

Put some on some cotton wool and dab over it and you should pretty quickly be able to scrape it way with a spatula or similar.

I did this and depending on the surface of your worktop it can make the finish of your worktop a bit dull, hubby went mad, but I did find oiling it helped disguise it lol

I got glue marks on my worktop yesterday after practising nail tips and was thinking of trying acetone but was scared it would fade the worktop.

Will be interested to find out how you get on suzie, hope it works

Hi All, Well glue is gone, I used cillitt bang of all things, drenched the marks in it, any product i could lift i removed with a spatula, so as not to scratch worktop, then scrubbed, wiped down and any dull parts I wiped over with a small amount of baby oil, buffed and VOILA no glue marks

Suze :)

Just shows what Cillit Bang does to your nails then
