hi...

im having a bit of trouble, im starting out by myself at the moment and i want to buy a variety of nail polishes. ive spoken to many people about the different types to use but im finding it difficult to choose colours. what kind of colours do clients tend to choose and how do i go about choosing them as there are so many different tones of each colour.

Also, does anyone know of newhere that i could but nail polishes in bulk or do i have to buy each polish seperately, if so what would be a reasonable price to pay?? and are there any cheap websites that anyone knows about.....

Thanx

I would go for quality rather than quantity to begin with....you can easily build your collection over time and as your business grows.

I would go for your basics for french....pinks/whites

Deep dark colours are still very popular

Go for a good base and topcoat.

I use Creative and at trade price they are very affordable.

someone recommended that i use essie, have u ever used it?

Buying Trade or cheap is the best way, if you buy in bulk you may find you waste alot by it sitting around, cheaper polishes quite oftern as good as the expensive ones

Nail enamels which are of a high quality don't thicken over time if not used, I've had some of my Creative enamels over 2 years and they're no different to apply now than they were when I first bought them.

Buy cheap, buy twice!

I'd suggest some classical tones, go for dark ones, blue seems to be trendy (yes, dark blue) for this summer, keep a dark purple, dark brown too as they are classy...

then light tones, a soft pink, and colors with effects, nacre... but really light

and some bright tones, trendy colors. gold seems to make pretty well.
