There are often threads on here about service timings. There are approved timings that have been agreed by the industry and relate to reasonable commercial timings for a 'work ready' nail technician.
This means that a newly qualified technician should be achieving these timings to make them commercially viable and acceptable to paying clients. The timings may improve with experience but this is not necessarily essential. Longer times than this means that the technician is not 'commercial' and should be classed as a beginner or learner. Longer timings than this should be charged at a 'learner' rate and not full price and clients should be informed of this and be prepared to expect a nail service that is longer than usual.
Timings
Full mani/pedi 45mins (spa longer)
Natural nail overlay 90mins
Enhancements 120mins (tips with overlay or sculpts)
Infills/rebalance 90mins
Nail art 5-10mins per nail
If you cannot achieve these timings you are still a learner and should charge accordingly and inform your clients.
This is FYI. It takes quite a long time to get to these timings and produce a perfect nail but this is what a 'professional' is all about. (along with all the understanding and knowledge f course )
