Hi Everyone,

I know this question has probably been asked many times! I have had a quick check through the posts but can't find anything recent..so wondered if anyone could help me out!

I am looking at doing a Nail Technician training course, my local college does not offer anything except for just basic manicure and pedicure, I also work full time so I would need a part time course.

I am just wondering what my best options would be and have had a look for some short courses (week long intensive courses) on the net and have found a few places, prices vary.

I just wondered if anyone has completed a similar course and if you could let me know any decent training centres, I am willing to travel quite a distance..if you could give me any information on the best places to train and the quality of the training etc it would be very much apreciated!

I understand that this question has probably been asked over and over so if anyone could point me in the right direction to a previous post that would also be much apreciated!

Many thanks everyone :) :)

THE answer to the most FAQ - "which training should I choose?"
Have a check here it should help. I don't know how to do links sorry. Hope you get the info you need.:)

Try calling Creative (CND), they do Foundation courses all over the country, usually a week long intensive course, with lots of homework for assessment, thats the course I did and I think its one of the best products and training available, well respected in this industry.

Sorry I have no links for contact numbers, but it should be fairly easy to find.

Great! Thank you for your help! I have checked out a few sites and sent some emails, have found one in Manchester company called ETI but the course is only a weekend course and they do not have a great deal of information on their site..anyone heard of them?

Sorry, I've never heard of them. Be very careful with weekend courses that promise to have you 'fully trained' - it's not possible IMO. Being based in Oxfordshire you are close to a most fabulous CND trainer called Amanda Fontanorrosa, give Sweet Squared a call on 0845 210 6060 and ask about training with her. She is amazing and CND training is second to none.

Hiya
i would advise you to do plenty of research before commiting to a course, make sure you are happy with the people you are dealing with, are you getting the information you need from them to make an informed decision. ultimately, you will be paying money for your training and kit, so it can be an expensive mistake to choose the wrong comany/product/educator for YOU.

phone as many companies as you can, make sure you know what qualification you will be getting, check it is an industry recognised certificate you will get, get a trial/sample if you are confident to try something out.

just remember it is your money, spend it wisely...

i too was looking for a nail tech course but then decided what products were of good quality and nice to work with and was suggested the Bio Sculpture Gel nails are good, so have chosen to go on their product training course instead.
