Nail technician tutor needed East Midlands Newark

Hi, well my story is that i've wanted to do nails for a while now after leaving my job to have a family i decided to give it a shot. The only problem being i couldn,t afford childcare and lack of babysitters meant i decided to do a home learn course but im now realising i do need to gain practical experience! What can i do? anyone local to me that would be willing to help me!! Or can anyone recommend how i can gain some experience without paying out much more money? HELP!! I dont want to throw the home learn course down the drain as i used some of our savings for this course. I wish i'd of discovered this site before enroling on the course as it has pointed out that home learn courses are no good with out practical experience

I live in claypole near newark! im not a tutor tho im afraid, what home learn course are you doing?

Hi, im doing a home-learn.co.uk course. its their equivalent to an NVQ and is recognised by insurers. Im just doing the theory work at the moment but would like to shadow someone in their work or get some experience in a salon. I dont mind making endless cups of tea and coffee and doing any other jobs just to get some practical experience. The only trouble is it would have to be weekends or evenings to work around my children. If you know of anyone you think would be able to help me id be grateful! I live in the centre of Newark
