Hey all!
I am a self employed therapist working from home and j am looking to do manicures and pedicures.

I have worked with OPI and Jessica beforehand in spa's, but does anybody know if you have to have the certificates of training with the nail brand before you have use their products if working for yourself? I have also looked at China glaze...any good?

Thanks in advance x

You need to purchase public liability insurance when working on paying clients so it’s down to your insurer what terms and conditions they attach to your insurance policy.

If you have an NVQ level 2 or equivalent Nail Qualification and salon experience, most insurers will accept that as evidence of competence.

If you have only completed short courses or non accredited courses, they may require you to undertake additional training.
