Hi I am looking to gain experience, Full/Part Time in a Hairdressing Salon in Kent Areas. I'm Fully Qualified with City and Guilds NVQ level 2 and NVQ level 3 Hairdressing dipolma, I have sent my c.v. to companies, but unsuccessful because, lack of experience, could any salon help! I am passionate, ambitous, would like the chance to develop my skills to high standard.

I can't help you personaly as my salon is in the midlands but a big tip i would give you especially in todays current finacial climate is people are very nervous to take on new staff especially ones without customers?
I would say ,do you hair and make up well , not quite Saturday night style but look clean healthy and approachable then simply walk into all the near by salons that you like the look of hand then you c.v .Maybe say you'll do a week free voluteer and if nothing comes of it you get lots of different experience to add to you c.v..People would pay £100 s for a weeks training with a great stylist close up , so whach as much as you can and don't think of it as voluteering (or slave labour) think of it as free training.
