Need some Info on doing Nails in the USA

Hello everyone.
I'm an Aesthetician by trade.I've had my own salon in Canada for over 8 years and have since moved to the states and have not done much as far as esthetics here. I'd like to get back into doing nails, but the Us laws for nail and esthetics are so different.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do here to get licenced without having to go to school again. I know there is an exam of some sort I have to take , like a practical (gel, acrylic...full set), and a written. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get licenced in the States.
I really don't want to go to school again .I feel I'm experienced enough having done esthetics and nails for over 10 yrs I shouldn't have to be tested again but if any of you have any information it would be of great help.

Its a pain in the rear when I can't buy from proffesional beauty suppliers and I'm stuck with only being able to buy from the Sally beauty supply stores wich caters to everyone really. I need quality products that Sally's beauty supply doesn't always carry. Especially in the nail gels area!
