Hi guys.
New here just joined but have read quite a few threads on here. I am a qualified hairstylist from the UK, I also make wigs.
I made a wig for myself last week and lightened it up to an orangey/gold colour, I didn't want to lighten it again incase it starts to damage the hair too much, at this moment it's very warm!
I want it quite ashy or atleast very neutral and not so warm. I am a lover of Wella and only tend to use them so am hoping for recommendations with Wella, I was thinking of using Koleston Perfect 8/1 as I've used that before when doing ombré/balayage and it's came out beautifully, I also think 9/1 would look great.
Any recommendations for what would be best to use to get rid of the orange brassy tones? I want to use a permanent colour rather than a toner but any recommendations welcome.
I have tried to include picture but say it's too large, I have uploaded them to imgur here: http://imgur.com/u4igzuM
http://imgur.com/ne6CVhb so you can see what I'm dealing with, it's a bit more orange in person but the picture is a good indication. Thanks! X
