Oh wow!! Excellent.
Loving 'bird of paradise' :D

Love them all. Nice to see what looks like a proper nude colour rather than peach x

OMG there all lush!
I wouldn't know which one to start with...although I love the minty green...no wait, the pink..NOPE, purple!
Omg..this is getting mega expensive!!! LOL

I just bought rose damask, and im a bit gutted tbh. Kind of thought it was a pinky nude kind of colour, But its totally just mauve!? Its ok, but hate that when you buy a colour and its arrives and is totally different.
So thankyou, gives a better insight into what the colours ACTUALLY really look like!

How do you all remove Gellux ? I find it dreadful to remove & basically have to file most of it off! However a week ago with the clients permission I did not use any primer & the gel is still on & she is a Hairdresser, so I shall see how it is next week & if it removes much easier I might stick with Gellux ( please excuse the pun ! ) I was thinking of changing to Shellac.:|

Hi there.
I removed my sisters today (aurora) and my toes (asteroid) with no problems. I buffed the top layer off gently, broke the seal if you like, then put them in acetone soaked cotton wool pads, shiny foil down wrapped around, cup of tea in hand and left for 15 mins...and scraped it off fine?

I get so anxious when doing removals as I have heard lots of bad things about gellux removal, but can honestly say I have been ok with it.
If any has seemed stubborn, a gentle buff with a white block seems to lift it too? Have never had to scrub and scrape at it like I once did with BLUESKY...but of course that's a different story! LOL!

I find you have to soak the pad in acetone or remover and I leave for 20mins,usually make a tea of coffee to wrap their hands round too so hands aren't cold and I find it just lifts off usually. Get the odd stubborn bit and some colours are more stubborn than others.
I use shellac alongside gellux :)

Haha that's why I bought them all! Vat free for 2 transactions in capital at the mo!
I know what you mean though about colours being disappointing!

How much did you pay for all colours vat free at capital? I was planning to do the same, the colours look great! Sooooo excited!

I have been using Gellux for over 2 years now and I think its a fantastic product and have no idea why not much people use it? Yes their colour range isn't the best sometimes compared to other ranges but I think they are catching up! People always say it's touch to remove...? If you have trained in the product properly their should be no excuse, the product does what it says and providing it is used correctly you will get a satisfied nail tech and very happy client. I LOVE GELLUX! It is also easy to do free hand nail arts onto which is what I specialise in, it's great 💕

Im doing the 1 day gellux training session on a few weeks.
Excited! I already have the kit and have been using it a while now. Wasn't impressed with Maraschino cherry though, bled quite a lot into topcoat brush, but i'm finding that with darker colours.

Love ocean coral, goes on and looks a dream :)

So os the course good then?
Do they cover blending ombre techniques at all?
Basic nail art kinda thing?

You will find that the darker colours do tend to leave a slight residue on your top coat brush however the colour is set, I recently swapped from a standard UV lamp to the actual Gellux Profile LED lamp and I have found this seems to set the gel harder almost...seem to get less bleeding anyway?! I prefer it...just my experience

I used the new lamp! Brand new yesterday along with the 'maraschino cherry!', also new.

Oh well, just have to accept its the way the darker colours are! lol

I originally trained in Gellux and gave up after a year. The damage to the nail bed is not worth it at all and filing to break the top coat is what does it. I trained in Shellac and it's the best product out there. Never looked back. Gellux was always lovely to paint on but the removal cons outweighed the pros I'm afraid!!

What is the yellow? As far as I knew gellux don't have a yellow in the range????

They do, saw it on ebay once and missed out, check it out on amazon:
