new microsoft office word... help for assignment

Well finally done my assignment a week late for my massage course and i have to add a footer with my name and also pg numbers but I have just added the new word and i dont know how to use it. :irked:

so any geeks know how to add headers and footers and page numbers??

Click on the 'INSERT' tab at the top and you'll find the icons for headers and footers. Click on 'Footer' and you can enter the information that you want to see on your pages.

New 'Word' is loads different that the older versions - took me aaaages to get used to it (and I still shout at it sometimes).

I have Microsoft Office 2003 and to do page #'s, click Insert at the top and from the drop down menu, choose page numbers.

For header/footer, click on View at the top and choose Header and Footer from the drop down menu.

If these don't work, click on your help menu and type in page numbering and then do a help search for footers.
