OK, some of you guys might remember my last thread http://www.salongeek.com/chit-chat/65856-new-salon-layout.html

However I had problems with the landlord and I can not have the upstairs now.
This is a cloud with a silver lining as he will let me have the downstairs of the unit next door - whooo! So now I can have things all on one level.

There is a problem though as they are seperate units and can not just be knocked through into one.
So in between the 2 building where the wall is that splits them we can have x2 6 foot gaps with 3 foot walls inbetween.

I have to fit in: 2 nails stations, 2 hair dressers, 1 back wash, beauty room, 2-3 sunbed cubicles.
What do you think of these new ground floor plans - which is the best option or do you have any other ideas?

thanks,

ps... the black area's are not my space... they lead to upstairs and will be blocked off.

I like 1 because your room with the couch is away from all the noise and chit chat which will be more relaxing for your clients having massage, facials etc.

i like 1 and 3...1 more so because of where the hair stations are.

Quick update...
we are only just making progress with this, the landlord has only just started work on he building.
Now we will have 1 big gap in the wall.

We have to go with layout MK1... there should be 3 hair stations on the right hand side wall, the sunbeds have to go that side because the left hand side ceiling is too low.

If anyone reading is intrested in renting a chair please mail me, the salon will be in Clayton, Manchester.

Thanks for the input and intrest.
