new start up. HELP?

Hiya eveyone!!!

im new to salon geek so hope ive done this right:irked:

i am looking into starting up my own salon after a year in the industry, i am setting up the salon in a different town to my home town so alot of friends and people i know will probably not use the salon, i was wondering if anyone had any advice really, anything relating to a new start up would be very helpful, especially things for bringing on clients as quickly as possible,

Have at least 2 years salary in the bank as most salons run out of cash very quickly.
There are lots of threads on here about advertising and marketing.
Make sure your clientelle know where you are.
