New Start Up Questions!

So the age old question - what has everyone found the most effective way of advertising/generating new clients?

I am in the process of starting up (one man band) and primarily focusing on facials, massage and eye treatments and wanted advice from others as to what you find most popular with clients?

Also, would you offer waxing treatments in addition to the above?

With advertising I am finding that leaflet drops are bringing me a lot of business, however from reading other threads I think it is different for every area.

I offer massage, indian head massage, facials, manicure, pedicure, waxing, spray tanning, Calgel nails and from next week Minx nails. So far facials are the most popular but have only been mobile for a couple of months now and imagine come the warmer weather nails and tanning will be on the increase. hth

Thanks for information. Think i'll try the leaflet/promo route and see how effective it is. At least if there's an intro offer promo stands a better chance of people calling eh!
