Hi everyone!

probably a stupid question.....i always say that.......just about to start practising fibreglass, been and brought the stuff (am distance learning from home) can you tell me,do i need to use building resin? my book says i do but they did not have any in the shop and looked on tuts on here and there is no mention of it,just resin then activator etc. Also in the shop i brought "drop on" and "brush on" resin, which would you recommend.

Am really excited about trying this out...!

Not sure...please help....

Every system is different - some fibreglass systems use a builder and their resins are varying thickness where others use one resin for all steps. If you have bought a try me kit then you need to follow the instructions for your particular product. If however you have just bought bits then you could get yourself in a terrible sticky mess by not knowing what you are doing.

thank you, the system i have brought is star nails so does anyone know if i need to use a building resin as i don't think they have one?

if they don't have one then no...
