Hi there

Just wondered if anyone could give me some info in the Nouveau lash extension training. Such as what is included in the graduate level training and does it include a kit or anything? Mostly, what you thought of the training and products.

Thanks in advance :)

no Nouveau trainee's around?

Id like to hear of anyone trained with nouveau also. Im stuck between deciding on lash perfect and nouveau. Theres a big start up price difference between the two.
Once trained, can you switch to other brands lashes, glue etc?

I would like to know as well, what is Master level training....

  • Lower lashes
  • Open eye technique
  • Y lash application method
  • Inner corner application open eye technique
  • Lash sizing to compensate for different eye shapes
  • Colour effects
  • Diamante designs
  • Layering the lashes
  • Lash on Lash technique
If you have decent traning with any company then you would not need master level training... I think is a waste of money. I already do all of above listed.
Besides, not many clients will want that.
Most of them want to have longer, fuller lashes, so they wake up looking great without applying mascara. :green:

I have my training with Nouveau next Wednesday.
They have different levels for more advanced techniques.
They were extremely helpful on the phone and real friendly.
I've had to do a half day at home and then have 1 days training.
Then i have to do 6-8 case studies and when i've done that, i have to go back and be assessed.
They only pass people that are up to their standards as their reputation is at stake.
Yes they may be more expensive but they are one of the top names and your potential clients will have heard of them. You get a listing on their website too.
I didn't want to do a one day course that just pass you straight away. I think there are too many courses for all types of beauty treatments that spend one day training you and then you're free to go and do treatments on the paying public. Some places you can do 3 or 4 courses on the same day. How anyone can learn all that in one day and be good, is beyond me!
Better to train with a company that cares enough to make sure that all their technicians are up to standard before passing them!

Which company does that??!! :eek::eek::eek:

I saw them at the beauty show in London last year and was very impressed by their system. The lady i spoke to was extremely helpful and patient. Their training is maybe more expensive than some others but they appear to offer a lot.

You can buy their glue even if not trained by them, or so they told me at the show.

It's a pitty that they will not accept people who already have certificate with different company for their higher level trainning...

A hell of a lot of companies do that. You do your one day course, get your certificate and then you can get insurance and away you go!!

I've trained with Nouveau in the lashes but I have to say the trainer talked constantly about her private life so much so that I complained to the company as I felt I didn't get the complete training that I'd paid for so I had to returned free of charge to another course. They very much try to sell you items and get you on further training courses and omit to advise you that items e.g glue only has a life of 3months after that its useless. I now purchase elsewhere as I do not feel they support their technicians. Sorry just my opinion.

hmmm, interesting.
Thanks for the honest reply master30, always good to hear the positive and negative. :)

Thanks for replies everyone, good and bad. I dont mind the costs if the training is worth it!! I'll have to have a look into a few others before i decide. There are so many out there its hard to work out who's worth the money and who's not!
