Nvq level 3 interview this Thursday

Hi everyone
I have my interview with the head of our beauty department on Thursday for nvq level 3. I have to wright a letter asking to come on the course and why I want to and then be interviewed by her.
I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on what to wright and what to say, I need to stand out as they have a big intake this year and only want the best which is what I hope to be but I'm hitting a wall

As long as you show willing and seem genuinely interested you should be fine.
Have a list of questions you want to ask.I expect you will be asked why you want to do a level 3,to which I would reply(and I did yrs ago lol)that you want to gain as much experience and knowledge in the industry as possible.That you want to make yourself as employable as possible(a lot of salons want a therapist with a minimum level three in order to carry out electrical treatments) and you feel with the knowledge of a level 3 qualification,that you will be both competent and confident to deal with all aspects of beauty therapy.

Hope I haven't waffled on too much,maybe have a play around with the words I have written or maybe some of what I have written helps you to realise why a level 3 is so beneficial in our line of work.HTH and good luck.x
